This recipe has quickly become a favourite around here. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to watch O gobble down this bright green puree! I got this recipe from my favourite baby food making book out there, Sprout Right. (Seriously this book has been my saviour!)
- 3 medium carrots
- 2 cups frozen organic peas
- 1 tablespoon of chopped, fresh mint
- Peel and chop carrots into smaller pieces and steam for about 15 minutes. Add the peas to the steamer and steam for another 5 minutes.
- Puree in blender with a splash of home made chicken stock (post coming!) or water. Add enough liquid to turn the puree into a thick, smooth soup.
