I’ve been dying to share Olive’s room for a very long time, and finally made it happen thanks to my magical photographer pal Elza of Elza Photographie.
This room developed from her nursery in our old house. There we used most of the same pieces, except the room was 1/3 of the size. Luckily, everything fit perfectly in the new house. Her old, compact changing table/ dresser fits perfectly between the two windows in the new house, which was a big win! Since then we changed her bed to a toddler bed, and have added a few more grown up features to take her into toddlerhood.
In Olive’s nursery at our old house we used the Cole and Son Dovedale wallpaper. I loved this paper SO much, and was unsure how I was ever going to find anything comparable. I seriously considered using it again, until I fell head over heels in love with the Designer’s Guild Yukata design.
Organization tip: I am obsessed with Pehr Designs bins, and have them all over my house! They are perfect for toy or book storage, and I just love how they fit into my decor. These pom bins are my absolute favourites.
Dolls are my favourite accessory for the girls’ rooms, and they have amassed quite the collection! Our favourites are by Cloth and Thread, as well as Jess Brown.
And of course I couldn’t resist taking a few shots of the girls’ while Elza was here shooting Olive’s room!
